The reception people are friendly, the sleeping area is pretty comfortable, and I booked the second building but was upgraded to the first building (?). The bathroom is terrible; the shower and toilet are combined… there’s a male urinal outside, and after showering you’re awkwardly met by someone using it. The public areas are cramped and hot, there’s no light on the bed, and the locker lock seems broken and won’t open.

The owner responds quickly, the pick‑up service is thorough, the bedding is clean and tidy, and the location is excellent—just over 700 m from the port, and two convenience stores are a two‑minute walk from the hotel. The shower room has a large and a small one, and you have to queue. The hotel also offers scooter rentals, so you don’t have to go to a separate shop; it’s a one‑stop service, though the scooter brakes are a bit sluggish and require both hands to stop.

What I saw on Booking was room 2, but the owner switched it to the original old homestay. It’s closer to the pier, but there’s no pick‑up service, and on a hot day walking the luggage to the car takes 1.12 km (the owner says 800 m).
