It felt like a comfortable, pleasant home away from home. The staff and host made sure my stay was as comfortable as possible.

The staff were extremely accommodating, leaving no request unmet and always ready to help. The location was perfect for us because we could drive in almost every direction. The car could be parked right outside the door. The showers always had hot water, and there was a separate washbasin with seating in the bathroom. A bedroom air‑conditioner was available, which we used for heating during the cold season. Breakfast was excellent and could be tailored daily – muesli, sandwiches or omelets, etc. We stayed in a family room. Two evenings we dined at Sabria's Restaurant, about 5 minutes from the hotel, otherwise delivery was available.

The room’s cleanliness, towels and bedding were spotless, and the cleaning lady was friendly. The proximity to the Cape Flats worried us a bit, especially since we’re from Johannesburg; we’ve seen a lot happening there and it made us uneasy.
