The place, view, and double room were good, but we were very disappointed with Casa da Adega. It had no living or social area; the kitchen was separated from the rest of the house, accessible only from the outside, and nothing was mentioned in the description. The kitchen and dining area were tiny, not functional or welcoming. We couldn't cook dinner properly because the heating plates wouldn't turn on, even with instructions. The house had no functional heating. The only bathroom was located inside the double room.

The house was pleasant and the outdoor area well maintained; the scenery was beautiful and river beaches nearby. However, access was difficult—narrow roads made it hard for cars to pass each other, and to reach Casa da Adega you have to descend almost 40 steps, the same you must climb to reach the road and parking, so it's not suitable for those with mobility issues. The bathroom was small.

The house was in a very quiet area, we found a beautiful river beach and the locals were very helpful, but summer brought a lot of insects.
