A private balcony extends from the Deluxe Double Room, offering outdoor space for the two guests. Inside, a large double bed provides the sleeping arrangement, while a wardrobe supplies storage. The en‑suite bathroom includes a shower, bidet and hair‑dryer, and the room is equipped with air conditioning. Free toiletries are supplied for guest use.

As a photographer, I spend most of my year at my favorite spot, the Sky Bay Lodge in Ha Giang, Vietnam, and the location is perfect for launching the world‑famous Ha Giang Loop; nearby rice terraces and hiking trails through paddies add to the charm. The lodge sits 3 km outside the city, surrounded by nature, so it’s quiet and free of smog. Rooms range from very inexpensive to very comfortable, and the family running the place—especially Manager Ms. Tuyet, who speaks perfect English—arranges a cheap taxi (50,000 VND = 1.90 USD) from the bus station for the 3 km walk. The view is luxurious, beautiful, romantic, and family‑friendly, offering good value and technical comfort; the food selection is limited but of very good quality.
