The château is very beautiful, the park is large and calm, and the breakfast (extra charge) is very hearty. However, it was only 14 °C in the room at 17:30 when we arrived, and 17 °C four hours later. The Nordic bath required more than an hour to start and could not be used (the fire was off).

The modernity is incredible! It feels like a sci‑fi film where everything is automated: check‑in, check‑out, access to the château and rooms by code, self‑serve breakfast, and even small robot vacuum cleaners in the common areas. We didn’t encounter any human during our stay, yet everything ran smoothly.

I was blown away by the gorgeous pool and sauna, and parking on the grounds worked smoothly for any car size. The chateau itself felt like a castle, especially since I was traveling solo. The breakfast could be added on, but it’s completely self‑service—everything runs via email and automatic replies. When I booked, I received instructions and a code to access the chateau and locate my room, but arriving at night felt like an odyssey because there’s no front desk or staff on site; everything is handled by email and SMS. It’s a bit disappointing for such a venerable house to have to navigate everything myself, and the freshly squeezed orange juice only works if you can figure out the machine and fix any glitches.

The natural setting is very beautiful, with great tranquility, a charming house, a lovely pool, large bright rooms, and very comfortable bedding. The breakfast is excellent. A few points to improve: there are no curtains on a window overlooking the pool, which lets in a lot of light even with the blinds; no bath mat in the bathroom; missing hooks for towels and clothes. Also, there is no staff; you’re fully autonomous in the hotel. It works well, but a small laminated paper guide in the room on how to operate the sauna and Nordic bath would have been welcome; it’s very tedious to search for information on a link in an email.

The silence and the location itself were great, and the room and pool were spotless. The breakfast was minimalist and pricey, and there were leftover food items in a drawer in the room! No robe or slippers were provided, even though they were supposedly included. The complete lack of staff made the stay feel dehumanized, and the codes alone were not enough.
