The location is great. The only issues were that the ceiling lights didn’t dim, there was no lamp to read, no coat hangers, and no hairdryer.

This was our second stay at the Tar Heel and we absolutely love it! My 10‑year‑old called it our best vacation yet (he also said that last year when we stayed here). We’re just steps from the ocean, the rooms are clean, and the staff are friendly and attentive. We’ll be back!

The location was perfect for us, the value was great, and the hotel was very clean. The parking was very tight, but it was nice to be very close to the room.

A cute, beachy 60‑foot motel that was very clean. The restaurant is next door, and coffee was available in the room.
