“Good option if you want no frills airport accommodation”
Convenient location for LHR. They have single rooms at a fair price. Friendly staff. Close to public bus stop (stop J) with frequent service to and from LHR central bus station. If you like watching planes come in to land, you can do this from the front of the hotel… like one per minute at peak times of the day. There is not much else around the hotel if you wanted to grab a sandwich (although there is a restaurant in the hotel if you want to pay for a convenient Indian meal or rather expensive room service items). I did see a succession of deliveroo riders coming to give hotel guests drinks and pizzas. I think there is a MacDonalds within do-able walking distance too. The hotel is on the Bath Rd hotel strip parallel to one of the airport runways a block away. What makes it convenient also comes with a lot of aircraft noise audible from the hotel room. Sometimes you also get the stench of jet exhaust wafting into your room, but that’s expected considering its proximity to the end of the runway where planes park and idle and then start to rev up at full throttle, wheeee!
