Gees, peacocks, meerkats and bokmakieries are on the premises, making it a quiet, relaxed farmyard. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful, and there is a well equipped kitchen. Just bring your own filter coffee pot and coffee.

The owner was kind, the place was in nature, the sunset was magnificent, the accommodation was spacious and comfortable, and the security was good; it was a bit isolated from the city.

I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to find this place, and when I finally arrived, I was greeted by a spotless room with everything I needed for a comfortable overnight stay. The only thing that threw me off was that they don't serve breakfast anymore, which isn't a huge issue since there's a 24-hour truck stop with decent food just a short drive away.

I was a bit miffed to find out that breakfast wasn't included in my package, but that's not the end of the world. What really got my goat, though, was that the wifi just wouldn't connect during my stay.

I'm still grinning from ear to ear thinking about my stay here – the owners are absolute sweethearts, the food is top-notch, and the venue itself is just stunning. If I could give it more than 10 out of 10, I would.
