The surroundings are stunning, the room is spacious and thoughtfully decorated, the spa is a bonus, and breakfast is plentiful. My husband loved the surprise; thank you. We will return with great pleasure.

“Far too short and phenomenally sweet - we’ll be back!”

The room was huge, incredibly private, and offered plenty of access to the rest of the property, including an entertainment room with a piano I loved and a beautiful wellness room with a massive jacuzzi. The privacy in the wellness room was unexpected; usually at this price you’d expect a shared space, but the small addition of a door hang‑up to signal occupancy shows a level of care rarely seen in larger hotels. Breakfast was held in the host’s own kitchen, which was charming and genuinely thoughtful, making the experience feel both luxurious and homely. Big thanks to Veronique for a wonderful stay, and the dogs were a great perk. There’s nothing I could criticize about the property. For my partner and me, we don’t drive, so the travel options were limited (which we knew beforehand) and there aren’t many places within walking distance to eat without booking first. It’s a tiny village, so that’s to be expected.
