The room was tight but worked for the two of us on a brief visit; the broom was quiet, the bed a touch firmer than my home bed yet still comfy. Breakfast offered yogurt, Weetbix, corn flakes, toast, and coffee—just walk into the breakfast room, jot your name in the book, and pay later; a neat system. If you want a hot breakfast, they’ll bring it out. It was a decent short stay with plenty to do, and if you’re traveling with kids, Crystal Mountain isn’t far. We thought it was a very good star‑like stay; when we asked for extra pillows, reception delivered them free of charge. During our stay the pub served dinners that were very reasonable, and the staff were great.

“Great for what we needed - one night stay”

The staff were excellent and checking in and out was a breeze. The room was neat and tidy—ideal for a single night. The location was good and the local pub had great food and was easy to reach from the hotel. It was a bit noisy; I could hear other rooms’ TVs, and early in the morning there was a strange machine‑like noise, but nothing major. The beds could use more pillows.
