The location is great, but breakfast was sparse and one‑sided. The staff should be better trained, and for the price you’d expect better service. The bathroom has old fixtures that are not practical.

“Ik raad dit hotel aan, u zult geen spijt hebben.”

The bed and pillow were very comfortable, the water pressure in the bathroom was fine, the place sits in the heart of old Mardin’s tourist area, breakfast was delicious with many options, the rooftop terrace offered a stunning view, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately there was no separate adjustable light over the sink in the bathroom, just one lamp lighting the whole room. The toilet paper holder could be locked, but it seemed broken as the paper was left beside it.

“Nice hotel in a very central location in Old Mardin”

We enjoyed our two‑night stay; the rooms were roomy and the beds very comfortable. The staff were always friendly and helpful—though speaking a bit of Turkish or using a translation tool helps. Parking was convenient, otherwise we’d have struggled to find a spot in Eski Mardin’s narrow streets. The rooftop terrace view was amazing, showing typical Mardin houses on one side and the south toward Syria on the other. Mardin itself is fantastic. There was nothing else worth criticizing.
