The chateau was lovely, the room spacious with a comfortable bed, and we had a pleasant stay, though something feels missing and it's hard to pinpoint what. Managing everything for just two people seems a lot, so things have been pared back. The owners were very friendly and would have met requests if asked, but sometimes guests shouldn't need to ask. We were disappointed to discover that guests had to be off site between 11am and 4pm, but otherwise our stay was good and met our expectations.

There was a bar with a drink selection and it’s 45 minutes from Calais. We did not feel welcome at all; the experience was quickly disappointing, and the value for money is lacking.

A beautiful building with a friendly welcome and a spacious, stylish room. The food was well prepared and tasty, and breakfast was also good; the garden behind the building is lovely. The only downside is that the grounds around the nice building still look a bit messy.
