Hotel Schröckerhof

The hosts and the whole team were very warm and attentive, making our stay extremely pleasant. The abundant breakfast and the 4‑course dinner were always fantastic and deserve special mention ☺️ The hotel’s natural swimming pond is also a nice highlight, especially with a view of the Dachstein massif where you can relax wonderfully on fine weather. In addition, the Schladming Sommercard was included in the price, so we saved money when taking the gondola to one of the many alpine meadows or to the nearby Dachstein. We would have liked a small fridge in the room, but that’s probably a “luxury issue” 😃

Everything was great, top location, excellent staff, top accommodation. Only downside: drinks are not included in the price.

The spot is great, the view is amazing! Breakfast was superb and the hosts and staff were incredibly warm and helpful.

“ruhig und abgelegen - für Skiurlaub okay”

Breakfast and dinner offered a wide variety and generous selection, and the place is quiet near the slopes. The description of the altitude difference between the ski cellar and the lift access is not accurate. The path from the slope back to the hotel access road is wide, but the descent from there to the ski cellar is steep and narrow, so it is rarely used. The walk is about 300 m with a 30 m height difference – there is no ski depot at the lift. The room was 20 qm, but the slanted ceiling in the bathroom and over the bed made it feel cramped. Booking through Booking is more expensive and the “Snow and Fun week” is not offered! We charge the same price, it’s a fake!
