I booked for 2nd October and paid. A gentleman called a few hours later to say the hotel was overbooked and my reservation was cancelled. I was halfway to Port Macquarie for a relative in hospital and no other accommodation was available. I finally got my $765 refund today, 13 days after the cancellation. What else can I say?

Great location, right on the water. The room was bright and comfortable. The welcome at arrival was friendly. The meal in the restaurant was good. Breakfast was a buffet. All good. Nothing to dislike.

Loved everything about Comfort Resort Waters Edge. We have never stayed at Port Macquarie before but we will definitely be back. Shout out to Jacob and the manager there. They both really looked after us. Very friendly. Very kind. Highly recommend staying at this resort. Nothing, everything was perfect
