I had no positives to mention. The stay was very bad because there was no car park; I had to leave my car outside the hotel and end up with many tickets since the hotel only allowed bus access. I didn’t like that at all.

The hotel was clean overall, yet it clearly needs refurbishment and maintenance. The bathroom was a major problem: the shower leaked into the main bathroom area, the door frame was broken, and parts of the floor were damaged. An unpleasant smell greeted us in both the room and bathroom upon arrival. The room was extremely noisy, making it hard to sleep, and the bed was uncomfortable with a dirty bedsheet. The staff, however, were friendly and helpful; they changed the bedsheet and apologized, which we appreciated. We paid about £60 for the stay, but we feel guests deserve a reasonable level of comfort and quality. The hotel might consider raising its prices, but the extra cost should reflect better maintenance, facilities, and overall guest experience. Another let‑down was the late check‑out policy: I had asked for a late check‑out before booking and was told it was possible, yet on the day of departure I was told there would be an additional £10 charge for just one extra hour. This should have been explained earlier, especially since we didn’t check in until after 7 pm. I wish I had taken photos of the room. Overall, while the staff were friendly and helpful, the room’s condition, noise, bedding cleanliness, unpleasant smell, and unclear late‑check‑out communication made the stay disappointing. I hope the hotel takes these comments constructively and improves the experience for future guests.

The staff were pleasant and polite, but the location was noisy. There was no parking available on site; nearby parking cost £10, and we had to move our car by 9 am.
