“Would recommend!”

The staff were lovely, arranging a tour, renting a scooter, and sharing food and activity tips; the written guide proved very handy too. This was our first stop in Indonesia and we enjoyed it a lot, so we even extended our stay by one night without any trouble. Breakfast came every morning, and the cat’s cuddles were amazing—thanks! The only downside was that the room we used for the last night had no hot water, no sink, and no curtains, which made us a bit restless.

“Wonderful establishment at a fantastic price”

The staff were fantastic, especially Laura. I was seriously ill, and instead of just handing me bottled water, the team told Laura about my situation and she made homemade vegetable soup, rice, eggs, fruit, and tea. I almost cried at such unexpected kindness—thank you, I’ll always recommend this place. The only issue was the howling cat.

The spot is great, right next to the train station. A top‑quality warung sits at the corner of the main street and the lodging street; I recommend going there. The cleanliness left a little to be desired, and the sanitary facilities… coffee? We were apparently denied that. The water fountain delivered lukewarm water, not ideal, though it was enough for brushing teeth. Breakfast was included, but it was just a banana, some papaya chunks, and one coconut pancake. Moreover, we missed our first breakfast because the host forgot, even though it was included in the room and stay price.
