The place was beautiful with a breathtaking location and view; the room was spacious, Japanese‑style with futons, and the public bath (which turned out to be private within the hotel) felt a bit odd for Europeans but ultimately wasn’t unpleasant because everything was well provided and suitable. I recommend it for its architecture and view!

The Ando Tadao architecture is a dream for fans, but the guestroom showed some wear on walls and doors; lovers of Ando won’t mind, though, as others have noted, the route from the entrance to the rooms can feel awkward.

The room was spacious with a nice bath and free access to play rooms and laundry facilities, plus an amazing view and architectural design; it was very quiet. However, our room had a smell that seemed like it might have been used as a smoking‑allowed room.
