The rooms were decent enough for a stay and check‑in was straightforward; the terrace area to the rooms was pleasant. However, the stairwell was painted entirely black, felt oppressive, and was poorly lit. Directly behind the room door a step down was hidden by a curtain with no warning signs, almost causing a fall when I entered with luggage. The bathroom looked elegant but the tile work was faulty: open grout lines, poorly applied silicone seals, and leftover EAN barcodes from the hardware store on the tile surface. The shower was unfinished, giving a construction‑site vibe, and after showering the whole bathroom flooded; the shower pressure was very low. The shower was black‑tiled with a black curtain, lacked its own light source, and was almost completely dark. Overall lighting was weak, making everyday tasks like makeup difficult. The nightstand lamp’s battery was dead. The refrigerator buzzed loudly, disturbing sleep. The TV only streamed Netflix and Amazon Prime, no regular channels like RTL. The communal kitchen was also black‑painted; of three lamps above the table only one worked, the second was missing, and the third was broken. The range hood lighting was insufficient to see stove settings, so I had to use a phone flashlight.
