Villa Omah Semar

The private pool was great, the breakfast was top quality, and the hosts were very welcoming. Everything could be arranged—scooter, diving, food delivery—and the host speaks Dutch. The village is about 2 km away on foot; it would be better to arrange a scooter through the host instead.

This place is a true gem in western Amed. It’s quiet, secluded, and the new village pavement is lovely; driving there is a pleasure. The owners take special care of everything. The breakfast is insanely tasty and visually stunning—few hotels can match that. I’m thrilled with this spot. It has no flaws.

The accommodation is very nice, a little off the beaten path but not far from the nearest restaurant. Breakfast was prepared to my request, and every day the pool was available for exclusive use. Nothing to add.

We stayed five nights at Villa Omah Semar and it left a lasting impression. From the moment we arrived, the place felt more like a tranquil home tucked into Bali’s wild beauty than typical lodging. Waking each day to the breathtaking views felt unreal—scenery you’d expect only in films or postcards. The garden and pool area were enchanting, especially at sunrise and sunset, and we often just sat there in quiet, savoring the vibe and realizing how lucky we were to find it. The villa itself was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully maintained. Every breakfast was amazing—fresh, delicious, and made with genuine care. What truly made the stay unforgettable were the hosts, Rudy and May. Their warmth, kindness, and hospitality made us feel welcome from day one. They were always ready to help with anything—organizing trips, recommending beautiful nearby spots, sharing local tips, or simply chatting. Thanks to them, we experienced Bali in a far more authentic, personal way. Some places are beautiful. Some feel special. Few make you feel completely at peace like this villa does. Leaving was genuinely hard for us. Thank you, Rudy and May, for creating such a beautiful place and atmosphere. We’ll remember this stay for a long time and hope to return one day. 🤍 Terima kasih

“A 5+ stars villa”

My husband and I spent three nights at the villa while our son took his diving course at Tulamben. The garden and pool are well maintained. We woke each morning feeling like we were in paradise. The villa is super clean, and the bed is extremely comfortable. Rudy and Mai are very friendly, and their breakfast is wonderful. Nothing else to add.
