Everything at the accommodation was superb and exceeded our expectations; the breakfast was spectacular in all its varieties, and the owners were very kind.

The location was easy to find using Google Maps, and a few bunnies crossed our path without incident. Breakfast was excellent every morning, with a well-rounded menu featuring a full English breakfast (including a vegetarian option) and pancakes—so many pancakes you need a big appetite to finish them. The breakfast at about 8:30 am kept us energized until around 1–2 pm. The room was impeccably clean—no dust at all, and every surface, from the windowsill to the tabletop mirror, was spotless. The bed was large, firm, and comfortable for the back, with just‑right pillows that didn’t leave me with a neck ache. The wardrobe was clean, with functional hangers, and the coat hanger was handy; we also had a standing fan for hot nights. The bathroom and shower were very clean, spacious, and well lit, with Cotswold lavender hand soap, body wash, and shampoo—amazing. The only suggestion would be to provide bedroom slippers, but we forgot ours.

“Nice, quiet location for a stopover”
