The room was clean by Sri Lankan standards and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We had specifically chosen a room with a kitchen because we wanted to cook local fish or seafood, only to find that the kitchen was unusable – it lacked any utensils. When we asked what could be done, they brought us a box‑packed multicooker that was very dirty, and we had no desire to wash it. Breakfast was offered, but the prices were about four times higher than those listed on the website. The room’s proximity to a temple meant that drums were beaten and religious ceremonies went on all night, keeping us awake until almost 4 am. Anyone selecting this room for relaxation should keep that in mind.

The facilities were great and the location was perfect. The complimentary breakfast was lovely. The owner was wonderful and very helpful. I highly recommend it.

The family was fantastic with us! The breakfast was super good and in plenty. It’s a very peaceful place even in the center of Mirisa, which is much appreciated. We would return.
