I appreciated having a second bed, though I still needed extra pillows to sleep comfortably. I had booked a king but was given two queens instead, and I was placed in the handicap wing. The hotel claimed the bathroom was great, but it was a wet room that felt more like a hospital bathroom and was not nice at all. The dinner was cancelled, the food was awful, and breakfast wasn’t ready until 6:10, when one of the cooks finally walked in.

The blueberry waffles with sauce and the strawberry waffles with sauce were unique and delicious—something I’d never tasted before. I liked the first‑floor rooms because they’re close to the parking.

The bed was super comfy, the shower had strong pressure, and the room was spacious with a desk and all the essentials for a week’s stay. The foyer offered plenty of iced water, coffee, and tea on tap. I skipped breakfast and ate in the nearby University Village, which has a great mix of dining, coffee shops, boutiques, and a supermarket. It’s a 25‑minute walk to the main UW campus and 15 minutes to Huski Stadium.
