“Overall very happy, would definitely stay again”
The location is ideal for a quick drive to RMNP, sidestepping Estes’ downtown traffic, and it’s also close to Estes if you don’t mind hunting for parking, which wasn’t an issue for us in early October during leaf season. Two breweries and plenty of restaurants are just down the road. Estes isn’t really walkable from the cabin, but the easy access code given the day before you arrive is helpful. The room was roomy with a hot tub that we didn’t use; it’s odd to have a hot tub in the corner of the room, but I understand it could be a nice perk in colder months or for hot‑tub lovers. Mule deer frequent the property and they’re cool!!! Elk were also present, probably just down the street but not at the cabins during our stay. The bed was very comfortable. The only gripe is the toilet, which is tiny—like a child’s bathroom toilet—so it wasn’t easy for me, though I’m not a big guy. Our room faced the back of a house, possibly the owners’, so the view wasn’t great. The big pine attracts a ton of birds, which was nice, and there were probably even more if the feeder had been filled. Deer might have been the reason the view wasn’t better.
