“hO TROVATO NAPOLI IN GRAN FORMA!”

The location is perfect, with a bar, restaurants and a pharmacy just a few metres away, and everything is still 400 metres from Villa Comunale. The place isn’t luxury, but it does what you need for a working stay and its value is absolutely in line with the price paid. Renato, the host, is a decent and friendly person. The photo shows the evening atmosphere at Baretti. I have nothing to say about it. I repeat the place is in line with its cost and the immediate surroundings are full of life and quality restaurants.

The place is in a prime spot, the neighborhood feels safe and real. The value for money is solid, the host is friendly, the room feels cozy, and it works well for a solo traveler with enough isolation from outside noise. On the downside, the breakfast only offered a processed croissant that had been sitting for the whole week, which could use a refresh; the corridor lighting is lacking; and the internal noise isolation is poor because the room is inside a house, so you can hear neighbors snoring and other sounds 😃.

“Il peggiore appartamento dove sono mai stato in vita mia, prezzo folle.”

The location is ultra‑central in a residential neighborhood, and the garage is very close, though not affiliated (50 € per night). Despite the external noise, the apartment remains well insulated, but the portable air‑conditioners are unbearable and loud—better to sleep at the station. The apartment is truly shabby in every respect. I consider it the worst place I’ve ever stayed in, at a steep price: 4 people, two nights, 485 € out of season. I hope never to return or encounter a situation like this again.

Renato was very pleasant, responded quickly on WhatsApp, and met me on the premises to show me everything around the apartment. The room was clean, equipped with a TV, mini‑fridge, air‑conditioning, and a nice balcony. Breakfast came as packaged toasts, jams, and sweet pastries. The location is excellent; I enjoy walking, and it’s 30 minutes from the beach and 30 minutes from the city center, with a direct subway link to the main train station. Only issue: the room felt a bit cramped with furniture, making it hard to use the table properly. A large wooden wardrobe took up a lot of space; a simple coat hanger would suffice. The small couch was also useless in its placement. These are just my preferences—I prefer cleaner, less crowded spaces. Still, these details won’t deter me from staying again; I’d return in a heartbeat.
