Dream Mansion Hotel

The equipment list was exhaustive—everything I expected was there, especially the abundance of power outlets and the spacious storage cabinets. The room was well kept, the shower gel and conditioner were good, and the hair conditioner was a nice touch for women. On the downside, there was no makeup mirror on the desk, and the water pressure was painfully low; I had to worry about rinsing my long hair properly, especially in winter when the cold makes it even harder. I would definitely have the electrician check the plumbing. Also, when I opened the door the first moment, a strong kitchen food odor lingered—probably from a previous guest who ate a lot in the room; opening the window for a while would have cleared it.

The bed was comfortable, but the sound insulation was poor; at about 4 a.m. the neighbors were shouting loudly until after 5 a.m., and the floor and bedding were not cleaned properly, with stains on the duvet.

The location was decent, right next to Fengjia Night Market, so food was easy to find. I was upgraded to a room I didn’t like, and the noise level was not great.
