“Punta Allen est authentique par rapport à Tulum”
The hotel consists of bungalows that specialize in and are known for sport fishing, isolated, quiet, and calm, perfect for reading and resting inside the biosphere reserve. The village is a 10‑minute walk to the charming, simple beach, with excellent fishing restaurants and snack spots. The cost, especially for excursions, was too high (though we were there during the holiday season, so it was peak season). It’s not really suitable for swimming (crocodiles, but we’re in a reserve). The beach was littered with sargassum and plastic debris along its entire length (a widespread issue on this coast). The hotel is respectful but hands out an excessive amount of plastic water bottles every day.
