The rooms were spacious and the living areas were pleasant, while the bathroom was excellent; the property sits directly across from a restaurant and the patio outside was also enjoyable. I did dislike having to share a kitchen with others.

Breakfast was hearty and tasty, set in a lovely environment, and the staff were always attentive.

The location and view are perfect for anyone who wants to escape the city life, and the setting is exceptionally beautiful. I enjoyed spending time on the terrace; it’s just a stone’s throw from the Popenguine nature reserve and the sea, allowing me to relish the tranquility and stunning surroundings. There are several delicious restaurants nearby, such as the one in Zarafah. I appreciated the independence offered by this house and the sense of security it provides. The air conditioning worked flawlessly, and the housekeeping staff delivered a comfortable experience. I always had a point of contact in Moussa, who fulfilled all my requests—whether it was arranging an extra large pot or taking me shopping (for an additional fee, of course). Naturally, geckos are common in Senegal and they live right outside the house; they sometimes wander in, but after speaking with Moussa they were kindly released outdoors. That was personally very important to me. I had a great time and will definitely return.

The room had two beds. There were numerous problems: the Wi‑Fi was completely non‑functional, the room had not been cleaned (gecko droppings, dirty towels, a dirty bathroom, and unwashed sheets), a large gecko was present, the bathroom door was broken so it couldn’t be closed, there was no soap, and there was no dresser or wardrobe. With only one staff member on site, none of these concerns were addressed.
