Located within the 27-hole Islantilla Golf Course, the DoubleTree by Hilton Islantilla Beach Golf Resort offers free internet, 4 restaurants, a spa, and a seasonal outdoor pool. The resort features 2 paddle tennis courts, a golf academy, and a putting green, as well as a Miniclub for children during summer. It's 4 minutes from Islantilla Beach and 19 km from the Portuguese border.

The pools were great with comfortable loungers. The room had a nice balcony, good mattress, and the space was well cared for and clean. Breakfast offered a wide variety. The location was calm and quiet, at least in October. Pets were allowed in many areas of the hotel, even near the pool, which is rare at most hotels. Dinner was a bit pricey at €30 per person compared to beachside restaurants in Islantilla, and the breakfast far outshines the dinner.

The hotel is beautiful and well kept, with a very comfortable and clean room and bathroom. We brought a dog and everyone enjoyed the premises; it’s a very dog‑friendly place. The staff at check‑in were friendly and made us feel welcomed, and the setting is gorgeous. The food, however, was a let‑down: the breakfast and dinner buffets were nice, but the lobby restaurant was disappointing, especially the microwaved burgers.
