“Lovely central location beautiful views.”

The location was spot‑on and the balcony views in the roomy rooms were lovely, but the hotel felt a bit dated in a quaint way. Tea and coffee in the room would have been nice, and we had to ask for a kettle because of an early check‑out. Some signage near the hotel would help you find the right way on arrival; the only vehicle route is down the pedestrian high street onto the hotel’s private road up the hill, so the Sat Nav might misdirect you. Other than that, the hotel was fine.

L’hôtel est idéalement situé avec une vue magnifique sur les montagnes. Les chambres sont spacieuses, mais surtout le patron et le personnel sont vraiment très gentils, bienveillants et dévoués. Le petit‑déjeuner est superbe, nous adorons cet hôtel !

The view from the window was breathtaking, a true highlight. The only downside was breakfast, which was very poor—perhaps because I was there off‑season and the room wasn’t freshly renovated.

Booking is the worst app in the world; I regret booking through it for years because all the information is false and it’s a scam. The same applies to the app itself, which is the worst in the world and a complete fraud.

I unexpectedly snagged the top room, 401, with a stunning view over the Rhone Valley. The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly 🙋‍♂️.
