I was initially drawn in by the hotel's picturesque surroundings, but unfortunately, my enthusiasm was short-lived. The room itself was a letdown, with outdated decor and a carpet that was so uninviting, I couldn't bear to walk on it barefoot. The lack of air conditioning was a major issue, and when I tried to open the window for some relief, I was greeted by a gaping hole in the screen.
