The spot was fine—close to the conference and a quick walk to the sights. The downside? The whole hotel smelled like smoke, even in my room, and I saw a guest smoking in the lobby with a butt in a cup of water. The staff couldn't speak English without a translation app, and my online Visa payment failed, so I had to scramble for cash that I barely had.
