Veda elegant rooms

The place was spotless and the pool was gorgeous, which we loved. The room itself was small and the property felt more like a guesthouse or hostel than a private, compact house, which is what the listing promised. It sits in an industrial area and, as two women traveling together, we didn’t feel entirely comfortable or safe there, especially after dark. The pool is lovely, but it’s a long walk from the room, so that’s something to know beforehand. Overall, everything was clean and well maintained, but the accommodation and its surroundings were a bit different from what we expected based on the description.

Modern building with all the services available, a shared kitchen, a pool, a supermarket 150 m away, and a protected on‑site parking lot. Even though it’s in a strategic spot for visiting Taormina, it’s far from the beach.

Everything we needed was there: a good kitchen, air‑conditioning, and the property was private, which was great. The gate was locked, and we had quick contact with the owner via WhatsApp. Once a week, during our stays, the cleaner tidied the rooms, though we never met her, so it was discreet. Rooms could use better soundproofing, but it didn’t bother us during the week.

Parking, a pool, a kitchen, and common areas were available. The location is good if you need to reach nearby places, as it’s in a convenient part of town. The room had a lot of noise from the water heater and fridge, with little isolation from the outside. Workers were heard nearby because the building is inside a factory/warehouse or a storage area where people work.
