Tabist Hotel Daimu Minami-Souma

“こんなとこがあったとは知らなかった！また来ます😁”

During Obon we were the only guests, and the owner was very kind, telling us to enjoy the spacious room. We bought dinner from a certain beef‑bowl chain and headed to the hotel; when I tried to take the trash back to my car, the staff said, “Just throw it away,” and handled it for me. They also gave useful recommendations for family‑friendly spots, and the child could sleep in the room for free. I’d definitely stay again. The only drawback was the outside window that had no lock; a barrier or fence would be nice. Other than that, perfect.

“隠れ家”

The place was inexpensive and solid; staying multiple nights was ideal. The lobby had tables and chairs, making it great for group meals, meetings, or work, and for overnight stays. The only downside was the proximity to the tracks: the morning train noise woke me, but perhaps because of the event’s excitement, I woke up earlier than my alarm.

Basic amenities were fully available, and the staff were friendly. Because it was cold, a blanket was added as a thoughtful touch. Even though it’s close to the tracks, the noise level was very low. The only issue was that the hotel sits in the middle of a residential area, so it’s a bit far from the station. Walking from the station at night is risky because the streets have few streetlights, so it’s best to avoid late arrivals. There’s no convenience store nearby, so buying supplies at the station before heading to the hotel is recommended. A table placed on a step made it difficult to use.
