“Patient staff and happy chaos”
Every time we queued for a lobby photo, the kids couldn't stop giggling, and the staff were incredibly patient, making our family feel right at home.

The space was large, but the bed was as small as a family‑suite bed. The bed was too small, there were no toilet tissues, no towels, and no hot water.

The location was fine, but there was no hot water for showers, the toilets were broken, there were lots of bugs, and no refunds were offered.

The people were friendly, but the description on the booking site was completely misleading. You can see Oyo in the photos, which was probably when the hotel was okay; now it’s unacceptable. It’s worse than a 2‑star hotel: dirty toilets, dust, dirty sheets, ants and cockroaches everywhere, no hot water in any room, no soap or shampoo, and only a toothbrush and one towel for two people. After leaving, I got an itchy back the next day.

You can’t fault this place at all for the price—you get a lot of meat for your money. The receptionist was warm and welcoming. The room was spacious with an outside view, and the toilet and shower were clean. Special mention to the cook in the restaurant: he will cook anything you want at an incredibly affordable price and is brilliant for help and advice. Everything is nearby, including an IndoMaret with an ATM right opposite. A plug socket next to the bed would have been nice. There are a million potholes straight to the sewers in Pekanbaru, but that’s not the hotel’s fault.
