The location was good, the room was comfortable, and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast needed more options; the same breakfast was served every morning.

“Acogedora”

Everything was very good (breakfast varied). Good location. Comfortable room. I liked that there was a gym and laundry service. The pool was small (it should have a cover), and we couldn’t enjoy it because the sun was so strong.

The hotel is very clean and modern. The staff are helpful and professional. The room could have had more lighting. It was comfortable and clean but seemed like it needed more lights.

“Very Poor Service”

I checked into Marine Place Hotel in Panama City after twenty hours of travel, as a guest who’s stayed there many times, having booked an excellent rate. Just six minutes before I arrived, I was texted they couldn’t accommodate me, even though they promised they’d look after everything and send me to the Waymore Hotel. In reality, they left me to arrange my own taxi there. At reception, despite the hotel having hundreds of rooms, I was told none were available—yet still showed rooms for that night, leading me to believe I was bumped simply because of the low rate I’d secured. When I asked what they intended to do to help for the inconvenience, I was told plainly, “absolutely nothing,” and no apology was ever offered. I ultimately canceled my entire reservation. As a hotel owner myself, I was shocked by the indifference— a complimentary room, a bottle of wine, or at least some acknowledgement would have gone a long way. Instead, a loyal, long‑standing guest was pushed aside with no accountability shown.
