It was close to the places I wanted to visit, but room 416 was awful: the mattress was old, there was no cushion, it felt like sleeping on broken springs, the tub wall was cracked, the room smelled, and the AC didn’t turn the smell off.

We stayed overnight and loved the park and cruise option at the best rate; my car stayed in the covered parking lot for 7 days for $70. I’d recommend this if you’re cruising out of Galveston.

The staff were extremely kind, the facility was very clean, the rooms were spacious, and the morning coffee was delicious. However, the beds were hard and uncomfortable, the air conditioner didn’t cool the room, the breakfast was undesirable unless you like Texas‑shaped waffles, and the location was hard to get in and out of.
