A stunning villa that’s kept in tip‑top shape, complete with comfy beds and modern, spotless rooms. Staff were friendly and present from 0800 to 1800, and the pool stayed clean and warm throughout our stay. We were a family of seven, and there was still plenty of space left. The central spot meant we were close to both luxury spots and cheaper options, which we really appreciated. The only downside was the heavy construction noise around the villa; it got so loud that we had to leave the property more often than we’d liked. We were told the noise would only happen between 0900 and 1700, but that didn’t match reality, which was frustrating. On the last day the owner arranged a hotel stay near the airport to make up for it, which was a nice touch and made our late flight easier. If you’re planning a trip, check whether construction is still happening before booking.

Lotus Luxury Villa in Seminyak sits in a fabulous spot, just one road over from Potatoe Head. We usually rent scooters in Bali, but this spot was perfect without one. The pool stayed warm all day thanks to plenty of morning sun. The rooms were comfortable, each with its own ensuite, well kept, and cleaned daily by the wonderful staff. As we traveled as a family with young children, the enclosed main living area was ideal. Desak, the Villa Manager, was attentive and her team kept the villa clean and tidy. The villa also has 24/7 security. The TV could be larger for family movies, and with 8 guests the lounge suite felt a bit cramped.
