The food at Deena was delicious, and the room was beautiful and very clean; nothing else stood out.

“Mooi verblijf maar geen aanrader”

The décor was nice (except for the family room) and the place felt cozy, with a well‑kept garden; we ate well in the evening. We were disappointed with the family room, but the owner was reasonable and we received two other refurbished rooms, which was a relief. It’s close to the airport. The interaction with the host was awkward and communication was very limited. I’d suggest having bath towels and European plugs ready for guests. The family room we initially got (two double beds) didn’t match the photos on Booking; it was old with a low ceiling, cracks, mold spots on the wall, and smelled stale. After negotiating with the owner (who wasn’t on site), we were given two renovated two‑person rooms at the same price. Those rooms were nice and cozy, though one still had an acceptable stale smell. Even though the room was refurbished, there were occasional damp spots on the walls, which should be addressed to prevent further issues. Occasionally there was an unpleasant odor by the pool, and the nearby beach was very dirty, which was not pleasant. We stayed for one night to be near the airport, but I don’t recommend the location.

“Very nice stay! The host and his sister were very welcoming. We had freshly made breakfast ready every morning.”

The villa was beautiful, well maintained, with spacious rooms and a lovely garden, and the area was very quiet.
