“Wunderschöner Aufenthalt – ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen!”
I stayed 11 days at Hotel Rural Victoria in La Orotava and felt very comfortable from day one to the last. I was lucky to get a room upgrade and was truly impressed. My room was beautiful and very spacious, with a separate living area and a lovely traditional wooden balcony. Everything was always very clean and well maintained. The typical Canary style of the house with its many wooden elements, the beautiful courtyard and the traditional tiles has incredible charm. The roof terrace with loungers is a nice place to relax, and the view of the Teide was a special highlight for me. I also liked the breakfast very much. From Monday to Friday you could have breakfast from 8:00 to 10:00, on weekends from 8:30 to 10:30. There was bread and rolls, sausage and cheese, jam, yogurt, various cereals, cakes, fruit, tomatoes, juices, water and milk. Each morning you were asked if you wanted a fried egg, scrambled eggs or an omelette, which was then freshly prepared. Coffee was also freshly made with a portafilter machine – a big plus for me. ☕️ I especially want to highlight the friendliness of the entire staff. All were incredibly warm, nice and attentive. I felt welcome and very well taken care of during all 11 days. The location in the middle of La Orotava also liked me a lot. You don't stay in a large anonymous hotel complex, but in a house with history and very special flair, and you can walk directly into the beautiful old town. For me it was a completely successful stay. I was very, very satisfied, felt very comfortable and would book Hotel Rural Victoria again anytime. Thank you for the wonderful time – absolutely 5 stars!
