The hotel was outside the city centre, convenient and with private parking; the room was minimal like all Ibis Budget rooms but had everything needed, the breakfast was good and varied, and the dinner was fine even though on Sunday we couldn’t order à la carte and the selection was smaller.

I stayed in a spacious room at a great location and the staff were friendly; the pistachio chocolate heart madeleines were a delight, but the shower drain was poorly oriented.

It’s very predictable, just like other hotels in the chain, and is adequate for a one‑night stay; I personally dislike the ground floor and they always give us a room there.

The staff were friendly and the location suited travellers, yet the room was too small, the bathroom door wouldn’t close, it was too hot even with the AC on maximum, and there were no face towels.
