“Che peccato…..”
The hotel’s location is undeniably convenient: a short walk to the city centre and a few minutes by car to the beach. The parking in front is truly handy. The air conditioning is a bit noisy but the mattress is incredibly comfortable! The terrace is very nice. At arrival, the towels had 3/4 hairs each – it can happen, of course. The floor didn’t seem to have been cleaned with particular care, but we tried not to be too demanding. There was limescale in the bathroom, and the sink opening would jam? Whatever. Then we met the real owners: the ants. Tiny, numerous, and surprisingly present a bit everywhere, especially on the fridge and the desk. The most interesting part, as shown in the photo, was the presence of an ant trap: evidently the problem was already known. We had also read some responses to reviews where guests were invited to “report” any issues. We did, but received no reply that evening or the next day. Evidently, “just report” only works in theory or maybe the ants had already taken over our request. At least we booked only one night.
