The setting was gorgeous and the rooms were lovely, with no issues to note.

The hotel sits right on the coast, just a two‑minute walk from the lighthouse. Our room was beside the main building, with a parking spot right outside the door. We had two large, very comfortable beds, a fridge so we could stock ourselves, and a veranda in front of the door where we could sit in the evenings if the mosquitoes allowed.

The location was great, the bed was very quiet and comfortable, and it was an easy walk to the lighthouse. I would have liked breakfast, though, because the adjacent restaurant was closed that day.

The area is beautiful, just one block from Pemaquid Lighthouse. The family room is huge, very clean, and the common areas are charming. It’s pricey, but it’s worth it.
