“Estada agradable”

The building dates from the early 20th century, originally a bar and inn, restored by the descendant of one of the founders and shaped by early rural tourism; it keeps original features and décor. As soon as you cross the door you’re 100 years back with essential modern comforts for guests. The service is family‑run, friendly, and professional. Continental breakfast is served at the table with natural products; dinner is simple, plentiful, and good, featuring vegetables from their organic garden and other local produce. When it’s hot you can dine by the riverbank. Cleaning is adequate. The single room is small, comfortable, possibly with original furnishings and décor, a cozy bed, and a modern bathroom. There’s a private outdoor area to leave the car. No issues.

“Fantastic rural hotel”

The place is charming, with a quirky vibe that feels just right. It’s rustic yet equipped with modern comforts. The owner, who speaks excellent English, was incredibly welcoming and proud of her community involvement. The hotel sits on the N260, a well-known motorcycling route, so many riders—including us—were around. It’s adjacent to a river that offers a pleasant walk, and our room faced the water, making the view lovely. The owner prepares a set evening meal that’s homemade and generous, which explains its popularity. The only downside was parking: the motorbike spots were crowded, forcing us to park on the pavement.

Family owned and run. Wonderful host. Fabulous food. Hotel itself has a lovely feel. Bedrooms are spacious and of a high quality. Friendly bar. Nothing!

The location was uniquely beautiful, right beside a small river, so you could hear the water rushing from the open windows of the room; the breakfast was outstanding and met every desire, and the reasonably priced dinner was different each day and superb. There is nothing to criticize.
