“Estancia genial”
The location and cleanliness of the hotel were excellent, and the facilities were impeccable.
The photos are outdated, there is no yoga, the pool water quality isn’t suitable for swimming, and I was woken up at night by a nearby mosque.
The place was quiet, the staff had smiles, and the bananas were great! The staff were incredibly kind. I don’t want my departure to happen!
“Bonne adresse, agréable”
The woman who received me was very kind, the bedding—though not luxurious—was quite comfortable, and the location was convenient; the speaker for the prayer call was close enough that it didn't disturb me too much.
“Nice value for the money”
The staff were very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was excellent. Free coffee, tea and water were available all day, so I filled my bottle up. The hotel sits on a side street about 200 m from a main road, so the traffic noise is minimal. The main road has many restaurants, bars and a kiosk, and it takes roughly 15 min by car to the train station, depending on traffic. The same drive gets you to Malioboro Street/Mall, which is about 900 m away and offers more shops and activity. The pool I booked was not very inviting when I arrived, so I didn’t feel like swimming, though the staff were cleaning it as I checked out. My room lacked a bedside lamp, only ceiling light was available, which would have been nice. The door is hard to close and lock, which is annoying when staying for several days.
