I stayed here expecting a lot more given the price, but honestly, it was a total letdown. As someone who's inspected accommodations across Africa, I was shocked by the subpar standard here - health and safety issues everywhere, and the whole place looked like a construction site with scaffolding and wood frames everywhere.

This place was pure nature, super quiet, and had an amazing landscape - perfect for city folks like me looking for some romance. The hosts were really nice, and the wooden hut had everything we needed, plus a great veranda and good food.

David and his team were fantastic - we felt so welcome, and he gave us some great tips on the area. The food was awesome, and getting to kayak for free in an incredible setting was a bonus - we actually wished we'd booked more nights.

I stayed at this all-wood lodge with a stunning view, surrounded by untouched and remote nature. It's honestly one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. The setting is just incredible.

This resort is a bit off the beaten path, but it's got a gorgeous lake and the owners cooked us an amazing meal. I'd definitely recommend it to others.
