I liked the neighborhood and how close everything was, but everything felt dated for the price, and the bathroom water flow was weak—no high pressure from the sink or shower, just poor pressure overall.

I skipped breakfast and headed to McDonald’s instead; after staying in a filthy, rundown room I didn’t want to try the hotel’s food. The carpet was dirty, the tile in the entryway was grimy, the white towel I left on the bed turned brown, the sink barely worked, and the water pressure was terrible; plus I had to wait over 30 minutes to check in because the reservation office messed up a group booking that arrived before us.
