The pool was already closed (this should have been mentioned), and for the first two days there was almost no breakfast, no coffee or tea either.

The smiles, kindness, and availability of the staff stood out; the room was spacious and clean, surrounded by greenery and a pool, the breakfast was full and varied, and the meal quality was good. The only downside was that there was no hair dryer, although that didn’t bother me much.

The welcome was truly warm and professional, and I must single out the ladies on staff who were always very kind, courteous and helpful. Our room was spotless, the bed was made and towels were refreshed daily, and the air‑conditioner worked perfectly – essential in August heat. The pool was beautiful and pleasant, perfect for a relaxing day, and we even had lunch by the pool, finding the food overall quite good. The location was another major strength, offering quick access to the ring road toward Bacoli, the seaside towns, and the airport. All in all it was a very enjoyable stay and a property that fully deserves its five‑star rating, especially thanks to the quality of the hospitality. The only area I’d improve is the food offering: breakfast is more than sufficient, but many items, including the croissants, feel industrial; in an agriturismo it would be nice to have some artisanal, local or homemade products. We didn’t try the restaurant because the menu seemed out of season – with nearly 40 °C in August we would have liked lighter, fresher dishes; a traditional Genovese on 17 August feels more suited to another time of year. As a chef I mentioned this to one of the owners, suggesting a few summer‑friendly options alongside the classic dishes. These are small, fixable points that don’t detract from my overall very positive impression.

We stayed in the Melograno cottage and had a superb experience: the room was spacious, there were two terraces at our disposal, and the cleaning was excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly, the pool was included in the price and was fantastic, and the restaurant served truly delicious local dishes. If you’re looking for relaxation this place is perfect – highly recommended.
