Hotel La Place, located in London's Marylebone, offers comfortable accommodation and traditional hospitality. The hotel features individually decorated rooms with air conditioning, en suite bathrooms, and flat-screen TVs. Situated near Regent's Park and Madame Tussauds, it's close to Baker Street Underground Station and Oxford Street.

The only positive was the location. The building is old and should be marketed as a B&B. I had to change rooms because of a smell, and the manager said the cleaner had poor hygiene.

The location is fantastic, with plenty of cafés, restaurants and shops nearby, and Oxford Street is just a 30‑minute walk away. The room was small but clean and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. My only complaints were about the breakfast: there was only one hot option, the full English. I specifically ordered eggs on toast with beans but received just eggs on toast. I was the only guest eating at that time, so it’s hard to see how such a simple order could be wrong. The breakfast room could also use some background music to create a nicer atmosphere and mask the loud shouting in Polish from the kitchen staff. Overall, the location and room were good, but the breakfast service and atmosphere definitely need improvement.

A nice small hotel in a great central location. Very walkable, with good restaurant choices around. My room was small but comfortable. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay there again in the future. The breakfast wasn’t great, with little choice, but the coffee was good. I’ll probably skip their breakfast next time and find a nearby café.
