Casa Rural Las Nuevitas I

“Volveré”

The house is spacious and set in a beautiful setting, offering everything you need for a few days, including an Italian coffee machine which is important to me. The bed and pillow are comfortable, and the hot water pressure and temperature are perfect. Communication was excellent; they provided the exact coordinates, making arrival easy.

The location is pleasant, just a 2‑minute drive from Hermigua, making it convenient for exploring the island’s north. A private parking spot nearby is a definite plus, especially since parking options are scarce. The accommodation is clean, calm, and rustic, and Maria, the host’s mother, welcomed us warmly. Communication was smooth, with the host being very responsive via WhatsApp. The only downside was the number of steps and steep slope to climb up and down, though that’s expected in a village on La Gomera.

It’s hard to pinpoint exactly what we liked most, but the setting of the house is wonderful. The cleanliness and comfort are excellent, and the hosts’ friendliness is spectacular—100 % recommendable. Nothing negative; everything was perfect.

The entire property is clean, and communication with the host was very good. The location is close to nearby hiking trails. The only issue was the neighbors: dogs barked during the day and night.

The equipment, view, and tranquility were great. However, the house’s access isn’t suitable for people with mobility issues or those who have trouble moving around. We didn’t like the way the storm was handled, the closure of paths, and the lack of information.
