The place is close to nature, the rail runs right next to the resort, and you can see cows walking back from the field in the evening; the setup is very simple. The onsen isn’t hot enough, the onsen area is too small, the food portions are small and could be larger, and some mosquitoes and other insects can be seen.

We enjoyed our stay at Waree Onsen Resort. It’s a small resort but it’s nice and cozy, a great place to relax. The staff are super friendly and made our stay extra special. We will certainly return.

Only rice porridge with pork for breakfast, which is shamefully little for the 135 euros we paid. In the evening only hot pot was served, presented like a prison in front of your door. We feel heavily ripped off. The complex is in the middle of nowhere with the look and facilities of a hostel. Absolutely no value for the expensive price. Don’t book!

Quiet place. Too many mosquitoes, the water coming out of the pipes is brown and must be let run, the meal was mediocre.
